What is a 'Babymoon'

‘Babymoon’
has traditionally referred to the six weeks immediately following the birth of a new baby – a time when mother, father and baby are getting to know each other in a quiet and gentle way.  More recently, ‘Babymoon’ has also referred to ‘time-out’ taken by the parents-to-be prior to the birth of their baby – time to connect, bond and celebrate the pregnancy together.

At ‘Celebration of Birth’ we offer a range of ways for you to take time out for your 'Babymoon'.You may like to join with a small group of other expectant mums and dads in one of our ‘Celebration of Birth’ pregnancy weekends. Or you may prefer to take some very special time out and let us organise your very own personalised 'Babymoon' Retreat.

If you are a ‘father-to-be’ – a ‘Celebration of Birth’  Babymoon is a wonderful way to enjoy time with your partner in a relaxing environment, as you gain valuable knowledge for supporting the birth experience and the transition into parenting.  A 'Babymoon' is a very  meaningful way to support your partner, to feel acknowledged as a father and enjoy time together before the baby arrives.

Why not book a Pregnancy Retreat as a special gift or surprise for your partner, which you can both enjoy!
